Acidity - Home Remedies

Drink lots of water which is a healthy habit and reduces acidity too.

Early in the morning in empty stomach have two raw garlic cloves. Garlic greatly helps in removing acidity

Black pepper, Garlic and cumin seeds have to be fried a little and then powder it.In a cup of  warm water add half tsp of powder and drink twice a day.

Amla reduces acidity.

Having Tea,coffee and cola will increase acidity. so its better to avoid these.

Any gastric related medicines have to be taken atlest half an hour before food or in empty stomach for effective results.

If you are suffering from acidity, cut down on your daily caffeine intake ie limit the cups of tea and coffee your drink and avoid colas. Also avoid smoking and drinking. Instead eat light, healthy meals and stay away from fried, greasy food. Also make sure you eat two to two and a half hours before sleeping. And if acidity still persists, try chewing on some mint leaves and Tulasi leaves.
